You try not to look awkward in front of the couple. You know when they’re all lovey dovey right in front of you and you try to look away; or maybe when they’re talking with each other and they try to engage you in the conversation with just a Yes or No answer you fake a smile and a nod. Before you left, I wanted to tell you that we would have been perfect for each other but clearly we’re not. I wanted to show you that we could have had a chance at life but to tell you frankly we wouldn’t even last a day after what happened. I would have fetched you the moon and the stars, but obviously I didn’t have the chance. We could have spent eternity together but we didn’t. It’s all because you ended it, it’s all because we’re not made for each other.

We all have a friend that lives up to the expectation of the song “You’ve got a Friend” because winter, spring, summer or fall, all you have to do is call and they’ll be there for you.
